Star Wine List of the Year Netherlands 2021 – all the winners
Fitzgerald in Rotterdam won three categories in the first ever Star Wine List of the Year Netherlands – including the prestigious Grand Prix category, presented by Austrian Wine. Here are all the winners.
On 16 February, Star Wine List celebrated the best wine lists in the Netherlands during the first ever Star Wine List of the Year Netherlands. The event was live-streamed and led by Star Wine List’s editor Andreas Grube, together with Raimonds Tomsons – jury member, Star Wine List ambassador and 2017 Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa.
The event was also joined by jury members Marc Almert and Arvid Rosengren, as well as partners Austrian Wine and Vinos Baettig and some of the winning sommeliers.
Restaurant Fitzgerald in Rotterdam won three of the five categories, including the prestigious Grand Prix category.
“A great wine list doesn’t only have one clear focus, but a great depth in many categories. Someone has really looked into each region, knows the producers and has presented them very well,” says jury member Marc Almert about the winning list.
