About Voltaire
Parc Broekhuizen is in the heart of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. It is a unique nature reserve with ancient forests, drifting dunes, fens, and heaths. Within the Parc is a breath-taking manor house which includes several suites and also restaurant Voltaire. Nils Snitselaar is the leader of the dining room, and also a very skilled sommelier.
The wine list is a great adventure through the vineyards of the world, with many great choices. A good selection by the glass, and thanks to Coravin also some really exceptional glasses are poured, like the Vouvray from the biodynamic producer Huet. The nice Burgundy collection includes various bottles of Domaine Leflaive (Puligny), Philippe Pacalet (Gevrey) and Chassorney (Volnay).
There is also a page of orange wines from almost every corner of Europe, even the ”classic” Ribolla Gialla from Gravner (Friuli). Also worth mentioning are the picks form Austria.
