The Test Kitchen Carbon

World-renowned chef Luke Dale Roberts’s Johannesburg iteration of his award-winning restaurant takes shape in the form of The Test Kitchen Carbon in Rosebank’s Oxford Park precinct. The space with its charred wood panelled walls, Nguni print touches and black accents makes for a phenomenal place at which to enjoy the chef’s experiential and sensorial multi-course tasting menu.

Heading up the wine program is the award-winning sommelier and winemaker Tinashe Nyamudoka. While the pairing menu offers either an international or local option, the list (except for Champagne) falls firmly into the latter, showcasing a concise yet exemplary selection of top South African wineries, estates and producers.
