About The Creameries
The Creameries is permanently closed.
The Creameries is a low key but high quality neighbourhood restaurant, wine bar and shop in the bohemian quarter of Chorlton, Manchester. Set in a former Edwardian dairy, the restaurant serves ethically sourced seasonal set menus for lunch and dinner. The wine bar (open evenings only) has snacks and an extensive list of low intervention producers, and also host regular tastings and meet the winemaker events.
About the The Creameries Wine List
The list and stock is constantly changing to match their minimal waste menu of wild meat and locally sourced produce, so beware this is just a taster. It's an international selection - new wave California, trendy Jura and Austria, cult orange offerings (Pheasant's Tears) - the emphasis is clearly on the natural/bio/ethical production as opposed to a particular continent or region. They've also delved into alternative formats - four wines in keg (available) to take away in refillable bottles and the newly popular/divisive wine-in-a-can. All in all a lovely local for anyone enthusiastic or curious about natural wine.
