About The Clove Club
The list at the 2-Star The Clove Club (two-star) stetches close to 800 references, yet doesn’t feel remotely unwieldy, no bottle unnecessary. Wines from all over the world are given their chance to shine; the very best producers at all price points have been selected. Showcasing a mixture of classics with age and newcomers/rising stars, there is a focus on small growers and organic and biodynamic producers where possible, but not for their own sake. Wine pairings are offered (including one interspersed with ambient brewed rare teas). By the glass offers plenty of interest—fine wines and older vintages feature, as well an impressive number of sweet wines (10) and Madeira (11, going back to 1900). Polished and on point from start to finish.
