Stone House Wine Bar & Kitchen

We have Rebecca Bullen to thank for this gem. She brought her expertise from Melbourne’s Cohen Cellars to open Stone House as Darwin’s first true wine bar in 2016. It’s a cosy, relaxed feel, with a rustic interior and an inviting outdoor space that just screams Darwin summer vibes. The wine list will have you captivated: you’ll find new-wave producers among well-known wine icons from both Australia and championed regions around the globe. Think JC’s Own, Delinquente, Ministry of Clouds, Big Easy Radio sitting alongside Penfolds, Felton Road, Henschke, Krug, Billecart and Wirra Wirra. Expect to be intrigued by the scope of spirits and beers on offer, too, all sure to go down a treat in the heat. Make time for a snack. Stone House does the whole grazing, small plates deal very well indeed. There’s also a bottle shop on site, so you can enjoy a taste of Stone House after you leave.
