About Pazzo
A must visit for all wine lovers is Pazzo, a wine restaurant and bar in Antwerp owned by chef Ingrid Neven and sommelier Tom d’Hooghe. On the ground floor, the restaurant offers a wide diversity of culinary influences, like Belgian asparagus with burrata, pigeon from Anjou, salmon sashimi and shrimp tempura. Not to forget are their amazing truffle dishes. I love the truffle risotto!
A wide range of wines by the glass have been selected to accompany these wonderful dishes. The wine list is as worldly influenced as the kitchen is and there are some real gems on it.
The lovely bar, on the first floor, is used to have an aperitif before you enter the restaurant, for after-meal drinks, or you can just visit it to have a good glass of wine. What is also special about the bar is the exclusive selection of cigars and the separate well-ventilated area where you can enjoy your cigar. Fairly recent is their new terrace that also offers a wonderful space to enjoy their magic dishes and wines in the summer months.
