About NOBUO

NOBUO, located in the historic alleys of Dongmen in Taipei, is helmed by chef Nobu Lee, who upholds the philosophy of “simplicity, purity, honesty” in his creations. Since opening in 2024, the restaurant has received high praise and already been awarded a Michelin star in the Taiwan Michelin Guide.

Chef Nobu has moved beyond the style of his previous Orchid Restaurant, finding his own expression at NOBUO with refined, elegant dishes, layered in flavour, that pair beautifully with wine.

Sommelier Natasha Tsai, originally from Fengyuan, Taichung, majored in Spanish in college and discovered her love for wine while living in Spain. Since returning to Taiwan, she has dedicated herself to the sommelier profession, thoughtfully curating a selection of beverages from around the world including wine, sake, and sparkling cider. A visit to NOBUO offers an experience not to be missed!
