Nestled in the McLaren Vale, Muni opened its doors in 2021, and thoughtfully they chose this beautiful wine region home to some of the oldest vines. Good places to eat and drink in wine regions excite me; the smell of the vineyards' calmness gives that country feel. The venue is situated literally 45 minutes from Adelaide city, and one could plan multiple activities like walking, cycling the trail or swimming on beautiful beaches, visiting local farmers' markets, visiting some wineries – and hit Muni for some good food and then come back fully charged.
The food at Muni is divine. Their wine list is artisan, driven by producers with organic and biodynamic practices focusing on living wines with minimalism, small batch and, more importantly, enjoyable. Most importantly, the selection works well with the food they serve.
It's a small venue and feels like a New York place with good vibes. They present you with a handful of wines every week that they feel will complement the dishes. However, the master list is always available for the savvy ones.
