About Mash Steak House
The London outpost of the upscale Danish Modern American Steak House group is slap bang in the centre of town in busy Soho/Piccadilly. You escape from the madness however as you descend into the rather dramatic and glamorous basement space. It’s a vast, upscale restaurant boasting a plush art deco interior. Needless to say, they serve some of the best steaks in town, with cuts sourced from all over the world.
The wine list is suitably impressive and includes one of the largest selections of American wine outside the US, with the opportunity for plenty of vertical drinking. There are enough affordable options and some quirky new wave bottles but their attention is mainly on established estates, including famous names such as Harlan, Opus One, Screaming Eagle.
BYO: £30 standard, exceptions for December, larger bottles and large groups.
