About Hakkasan Hanway Place

Hakkasan Hanway Place is the original Hakkasan, established by Alan Yau in Fitzrovia, in 2001 - before the brand spread out across the rest of the world (there are now Hakkasan restaurants across Europe, the USA, Asia and the Middle East).

This is super high-quality, modern Cantonese cuisine, with a menu including classics like Peking duck and dim sum, but some more contemporary options too. The space has a sophisticated feel and is dimly lit, with soft lounge music.

The bar is rightly famous for its cocktails and the wine list is medium sized, with each item carefully chosen for its suitability to the cuisine.

Very good, attentive service.
