When you enter the doors at Corkbuzz, you don’t have to wonder if the owner actually knows anything about wine; Laura Maniec is a Master of Wine. Maniec opened up Corkbuzz in 2011 near the energetic Union Square, and this full-service restaurant with wine at the heart of the menu remains a top spot for wine lovers. The eclectic list takes drinkers around the world to both famous and up-and-coming regions. In addition to the many offerings by the glass, pre-designed flights of three wines are affordably priced and have fun names like Laura’s Island Retreat and An Offer You Can’t Refuse. (There is also a second, smaller Corkbuzz location inside Chelsea Market.)
