In an unassuming cinderblock building one block north of bustling Central Ave. lies one of the friendliest wine bars in the city, well stocked with honest, well-made wines that appeal to industry vets and laypeople alike.

Expect some pet-nats and ‘natty’ wines alongside a stable of classics, cult bottles, and somm-catnip bottles. It’s adorned with velvet curtains, a ‘bubble bath’ tub full of Champagne and sparkling wines, and an ever-changing list of wines by the glass, plus a secret stash of wines they’ll have open on any given day. But rather than peruse the list, it’s most fun just to tell the staff what you’re looking for and let them guide you to the perfect glass.

Plus, they have semi-monthly food pop-ups in their back lot that feature some of Tampa Bay’s most talented chefs, where they waive corkage for those events. It’s a raucous good time and highly recommended.
