About Bricole
The atmosphere here is neighbourly, almost intimate―you immediately feel welcome! This is due both to the appealing bistro setting and to the cordial and professional proprietor and sommelier Fabian Fischer. He has a pleasingly personal touch in his dealings with guests and a clear enthusiasm when it comes to recommending the most suitable wine. Steven Zeidler is in charge in the kitchen. His set menu creatively combines regional tradition with influences from across the globe. A 100% vegetarian set menu is also available. Good to know: there are also a few small tables to be had on the pavement in front of the Michelin-starred restaurant.
Fabian has designed a wine list full of characters, full of German gems with some French touches. The list is arranged by grapes, then style―a very smart way to attract more international guests who are unfamiliar with the German wine culture. The best thing is that you can buy your favourite bottle at the next door wine shop, Lorem & Ipsum, owned and managed by Fabian himself. If that was not enough to convince you to pay a visit, Fabian is the current “Berlin’s Service Person of the Year”.
