About BABA
Baba is still a very new, small bistro in Wrocław, run by Beata Śniechowska, who also owns the bistro Młoda Polska. However, at Baba, she has the opportunity to present dishes that go beyond Polish borders, often inspired by France. The food remains comforting, but with a strong focus on detail.
This is a space where the details matter more, as it revolves around the interior design – the colours, patterns, and a specific energy that the space tries to convey suggest various directions for interpretation. Given the small size of the place, every element must be carefully planned, cohesive, and well thought-out, which means it’s a good idea to make a reservation in advance, as it’s one of the hottest spots in the city.
About the BABA Wine List
The wine list is not long and changes regularly, as many of the wines are small allocations. Baba follows the latest trends in the wine world, focusing on lightness. In every region, you can find winemakers who go beyond the familiar styles we’re used to. The common elements across the wines are expressive fruit, minerality, and good acidity; there are also orange wines. The selection ranges from under-the-radar producers to iconic names. And there’s always a solid selection of Champagnes available.
