Angeli

Angeli opened its doors in the spring of 2022 by the team running Bar La Lune next door. Now, Bar La Lune has become more of a restaurant, and Angeli is the wine bar. And yes, here they have created the perfect slip-in-for-a-bottle-of-wine place. Crowded, lively, charming. The room is dominated by a wall of wine coolers and a large wooden table in the middle of the room, where around ten people can squeeze together.

The wine list has an impressive breadth in terms of origin, styles and vintage depth, and it is also very nicely priced – which makes up for the somewhat modest selection of wines by the glass.

(Curio: Did you know that Mark Angeli is the name of the winemaker in the Loire Valley who, among other things, has created the iconic La Lune Chenin Blanc?)
