About 1904 designed by Lagonda
1904 designed by Lagonda is permanently closed.
One of the first things a guest recognises when entering this spacious and very modern restaurant is the Lagonda car in the middle of it. Dividing the lounge area from the actual restaurant, it clearly shows that the restaurant is linked to the brand. However, chef Thomas Bissegger brings his own identity through his focused appearance that guests can observe through the glass front of the kitchen.
His aim is to present dishes that are focusing on one thing – taste – rather than too much decoration or distraction. Whilst the restaurant opens its door at 6 pm, the lounge is open from 4 pm. This is a great place to stop for a glass after work or during a visit to the “Bahnhofstrasse”.
About the 1904 designed by Lagonda Wine List
The wine is stored quite visible for the guests in a walk-in cellar with a glass front which is integrated into the restaurant. A good selection of well-known brands as well as some interesting Swiss wine makes up the wine menu that holds a total of approximately 400 labels.
The wine pairing for the menu always has some unexpected combinations that further impress your taste buds. Especially the offering of Port and Sherry by the glass is a good alternative when looking for something different than the usual glass of champagne.
