The hotel and restaurant Granen in Åre has received weary skiers with comfortable armchairs and an open fire since 1916. The restaurant serves well made “Husmanskost” with fine local produce, and in the summer months snacks and drinks.

Bank Hotel in central Stockholm has an ambitious restaurant, Bonnie's, with a menu from Europe’s coastal cities. As the name implies, this used to be a grand old bank building. The hotel has a luxury feel to it and several small bars along with the restaurant in the center of the building.

Ett Hem is the exclusive hotel with a homely feel that also houses a fine dining restaurant. During 2022 the hotel has expanded to the neighbouring building. This has given more space to the restaurant and there are several separate rooms for dinners and tastings. The wine list is curated at the highest level with Burgundy, Jura, Italy, USA and many other gems. Please note that you cannot drop in to the restaurant, you have to make a reservation in advance.

For years, Restaurang AG has been one of the best steak restaurants in Sweden, led by celebrity chef Johan Jureskog and sommelier and partner Klas Ljungkvist. The place is often packed so be sure to make a reservation. The venue used to be an old silver factory - hence the name and the industrial feel. The friendly and professional staff will make you feel home and it is also a good place to bring your kids.
