Anarki is a small bistro-style restaurant located in the Frederiksberg neighborhood of Copenhagen and it is also the sister restaurant of well-established Restaurant Mêlée. As opposed to the francophile Mêlée, the dogma of Anarki is that they don’t have any dogmas. The wine list is created by award-winning partner & sommelier, Christian Thorsholt Jacobsen and the focus is on quality rather than ideology.

At the little gourmet corner of Copenhagen, Refshaleøen, you find one of the leading restaurants in the city when it comes to sustainability – Amass. The restaurant has one of the deepest and most well-organized setups to be sustainable. Amass has its own garden where they can source many of the ingredients for the menu. The venue is decorated with huge street art on the walls, which really showcases the style of restaurant. Chef/Owner Matt Orlando is well-known for being very focused on the products he is using, and always making sure to use the whole product.

Alchemist first opened at Østerbro in Copenhagen, in a spot with very limited capacity. Hereafter Rasmus Munk and the team got the chance to extend Alchemist, so they moved to Refshaleøen and a much bigger space. Here you will be dining under a dome which changes as long as the evening moves along. The dining experience will take you through 50 different servings, and Alchemist shortly after re-opening awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide

Enomania is two old Greek words added together, Eno: wine and Mania: Maniac. And that is exactly what this Copenhagen restaurant is, maniac about wines. Enomania is an Italian restaurant and the depth of Piedmontese wine is one of the highlights. But the Burgundy section covers almost all the producers you can dream of. Damiano is the host of Enomania, where he happily shares his extended knowledge of the wine with you. In the outskirts of Copenhagen you find the gourmet restaurant Jordnær (close to earth). The restaurant has a very strong reputation both for the food, as well as the service and wines. Jordnær is run by married couple Tina Kragh and Eric Vildgaard, running floor and kitchen respectively. Tina and her team has been awarded with the fine service award by Michelin, and Eric granted 2 stars in the same year. The restaurant offers a warm service and one selected set menu.

Restaurant Kanalen is as the name suggests located on the channels of Christianshavn in Copenhagen. In the kitchen you will find the talented chef Jeppe Foldager, who has won a silver in the Bocuse D’Or. The restaurant has a long history and the wine list shows it in a good way. It has an incredible depth of vintages and producers. The wine list at Kanalen has also partly followed the trend of more natural wines and has a good selection of wines from Jura, but it is still small compared to the more conventional wines.
