Steve Steinfeld is a South African Food and Wine journalist. His career began as the founder and creator of the social-media-based restaurant showcase, The Joburg Foodie, in 2014. While initially Johannesburg focussed, it has now grown to feature restaurants across the country and boasts an audience of over 42 000 followers. He writes for a number of the South Africa’s top magazines and newspapers, contributing content which spans across food, wine and travel. In 2019 he was appointed head judge of the American Express Dining Awards in South Africa.
Steve spends his time between Johannesburg and Cape Town, taking any opportunity he can to venture into the winelands.
